HOW IT ALL STARTED

You Are What You Think Yourself To BeIt’s been long proposed that you are what you think. I’ll take it a step farther and propose that a person becomes what they program their thoughts to be.

In his book, “Think and Grow Rich,” Napoleon Hill argues that we have the ability to structure and mold our subconscious mind.

Having been properly trained, in time of decision, reaction, and preparation, it is the subconscious mind that paves the pathway that our attitude and outlook tends to follow.

GARBAGE IN – GARBAGE OUT!

YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!

WHAT YOU SOW IS WHAT YOU REAP!

The list could continue until your eyes bleed from reading the same thought over and over.

The question is, does the truth of the process ever make it thru the invisible defense system that we keep so meticulously maintained at all times?

Some have walls built so high and thick around their conscious mind that no new thought is welcome for even the slightest hint of evaluation. Yet the very seed of everything we’ve ever learned comes from acceptance and evaluation of a new thought.

Eliminating yourself and your spouse (if married) from your present resources of wisdom, do you know of anyone who is 100% right all of the time? Learning is a continual process which has no finish line.

The learning process brakes down into two basic steps:

Welcoming a new thought
and evaluating that new thought.

The stated goal here is simple. Compile a collection of mirrors that help both writer and reader to accurately evaluate their current position, present direction, and uncover a more clearly defined objective.

WELCOME THOUGHT – EVALUATE THOUGHT

 –

Be it a thorn, a sliver of metal, or shard of glass; a splinter lodges beneath the skin and demands attention. In that same way at times, a thought races to the forefront of the mind, petitioning contemplation and becomes A Splinter in the Mind’s Eye.
