Centuries ago in the Colorado mountains, a horrendous act birthed a great evil that destroyed the land’s indigenous people. Legends were told that whomever entered its forest would be hunted and killed by the face of their own regrets. Those who had somehow survived always claimed an ethereal woman, and the monsters that protect her, saved them from their guilt induced deaths.

Episode Synopsis: Author, Deborah Hall, joins us to talk about Zella: Curses & Conquerors. The tale begins to unfold when a New York businessman inherits his step-father’s land in the mountainous forests of Colorado. He meets a little girl named Zella, who introduces him to the mysterious wonders (both good and evil) and awaits in the forest. It’s a magical tale that has garnered very positive reviews.
