WHAT THE APOSTLE PAUL IS DYING TO TELL YOU ABOUT LIFE AFTER DEATH
Nine verses into the 2nd chapter of 1st Corinthians, Paul inserts a perplexing, personal message to his readers, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
In the previous verses, Paul had dropped a bombshell as to what he was going to attempt to convey in this letter, “We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” A Mystery? Hidden wisdom? Wisdom which God had ordained before the world? Wisdom that was irrevocably tied to our ultimate destiny?
This episode features the teaching pastor of the Arthur City Baptist Church, David Burnett, and our conversation revolves around the things that Paul wants us to understand about a future event known as The Resurrection.
