10 Things I Believe About God & The Bible

If God created everything that we have come to know as reality,
he also created things of which we have no knowledge.

#2 – If God created the heaven and the earth, and all things that inhabit both, he did so in six days; six literal 24 hour days. And, he didn’t do it “millions of years ago” (Read More)

#3 – If God created all of this, it did not resemble what we now see. It was perfect when he created it, and we managed to screw it up. We’ve also managed to blame him for all the things that we’ve screwed up. (Read More)

#4 – I believe that if there was a flood, and Noah built an ark, that it was a World-Wide Flood. Otherwise, God would have just told Noah to pack a few things and move south for a year or so.

#5 – I believe that if Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and died on a Cross for the sins of mankind, that it was the ONLY option God had, and we’ve spent too much time since trying to improve it, rather than just accept it.

#6 – I believe that whether a person views the Bible to be a holy and inspired book or not, it is still the most interesting, and mysterious book ever compiled.

#7 – I believe that there are some people who profess to be chosen messengers of God’s love, who are despicable to the core, and that there are others, who make no profession at all, but are genuine representations of God’s love.

#8 – I believe that we have selfishly misrepresented the purpose of prayer as a tool whereby we might change the mind of the almighty, when it is really a gift whereby we might gain insight to the personal pathway the almighty already has planned.

#9 – I believe that if God created the world and if he sent his son to die for the sins of mankind, that he obviously cares more about us that we could ever care about him, and he’s not surprised by that fact.

#10 – I believe that if there is a God, we cannot begin to truly understand him until our life on earth ends; because while living here, we by nature attempt to define him within the boundaries of what we understand and he is not confined by those boundaries.

“God created man in His own image, says the Bible;
philosophers reverse the process: they create God in theirs.”
