10 THINGS I BELIEVE TO BE UNDER-APPRECIATED
I believe that it is difficult to truly appreciate advice
from someone who has been through really tough times,
until we are challenged by a genuinely demanding experience of our own.

#2 – I believe that we fail to savor opportunities to share dinner with a friend until the possibility of enjoying their company while dining is forever lost.
#3 – I believe that really good kiss has the potential to touch us in ways unlike any other experience and that sadly we take possibility of kissing someone we love dearly for granted.
#4 – I believe that few things in life can build bridges to treasured memories of our past as vividly as seeing a smile on the face of a child, yet we frequently see ourselves as too busy to pause and appreciate the gift.
#5 – I believe that too often we overlook the magic moment of someone we love coming home at the end of the day, casting it as mundane repetition until the day they fail to come home.
#6 – I believe that time and assumption have stolen our appreciation of the ability to come home at the end of the day to someone who loves us; someone who can’t wait to greet us with a hug and a really good kiss.
#7 – I believe that few things teach consistent lessons of character as well as the faithful love and companionship of a good pet.
#8 – I believe that few things serve us as well as literacy (our own ability to read, write and do basic math) as we mature into adulthood.
#9 – I believe that all too often we overlook and take for granted the first breath of the new day.
#10 – I believe that in our lifetime we have lost the depth of appreciation that we should embrace daily for the privilege of living in America.
The more one does and sees and feels, the more one is able to do,
and the more genuine may be one’s appreciation of fundamental things
like home, and love, and understanding companionship.
